WTC 2026 is approaching fast.

It will be held in Rio, Brazil, from September 20 to 25, 2026. (more details available at (https://www.wtc2026.org/).

WTC 2026 will feature scientific sessions, plenary talks, keynote addresses, and invited talks on cutting-edge topics across various disciplines of Tribology, alongside a wide-ranging exhibition and numerous events. Aiming to highlight recent important progress in all aspects of Tribology, we have selected 13 tracks for your submission: https://www.wtc2026.org/call_for_papers_publication/tracks/

The congress will take place in the stunning city of Rio de Janeiro, in Barra da Tijuca, home of the 2016 Olympic Games. Popularly known as Barra, it is the youngest and safest neighbourhood in Rio, offering a plethora of options for culture, fun, entertainment, tranquillity, safety and adventure. The venue, The Windsor Convention & Expo Centre, located just steps from the beach in Barra da Tijuca, offers a complete structure to successful events.

WTC 2026 is jointly organized by the Brazilian Tribology Network (TriboBr), the Brazilian Association of Mechanical Sciences (ABCM), and the Brazilian branch of MRS (SBPMat), and endorsed by the Brazilian Academy of Science (ABC), the Brazilian National Institute on Green Tribology and Energy Transition (CT-Trib),  and the International Tribology Council (ITC).
